Let’s figure this out together.
You’re probably flooded with information right now - trying to figure out if the nursery is set up ok, if your baby is eating enough, or is this pain down there normal. I’m here to talk through these situations and offer my evidence-based insight, without judgement. I believe there isn’t a one-size-fits-all solution for every family. Every family is different, the newborn period can be difficult, and I’m here to help make it easier.
My goal is to create a calm home environment and help build your confidence as a parent. I do this by helping you get more sleep, cooking meals that feel like a hug on the inside, and offering community resources. You deserve help!

FAQs

A Postpartum Doula provides non-medical support following the baby’s birth. I offer physical, emotional, and informational support during this period, which is often referred to as your “fourth trimester”. Postpartum doulas are trained in caring for a new mom, a new baby, helping with breastfeeding, postpartum nutrition, and much more. My goal is to decrease stress and increase your confidence, promoting a positive and healthy transition into parenthood.

Yes, we hold the baby but there’s so much more. We will clean bottles, do your laundry, draw you a bath, make you a nutritious meal, etc
We listen & problem-solve, without judgment. We know that sometimes it’s best just to listen and – when desired – provide advice, resources, and referrals.
We help you get more sleep (enough said).
We can help with breastfeeding and/or bottle feeding. We can guide you on how to get a great latch, hold the baby, and provide other tips and advice. We have respected referrals for lactation consultants if desired.

Typically, Postpartum Doulas work with families up to 3 months after the baby’s birth, but I am flexible with your needs. I can begin care as soon as you are ready, which may be a few days after the birth.

I serve the Austin area and surrounding cities. A $30 daily travel fee will apply if my driving time is 30 minutes or more, one-way, from my home in the 78757 zip code.
